Program Management (PMP Notes)

Definition

Program Management is the application of knowledge, skills, and principles to a program to achieve program objectives and realize benefits and control that are not available from managing the program's components individually.

A program is a group of related projects, subsidiary programs, and program activities managed in a coordinated way.

Example

A bank wants to transform its digital services. It creates a program that includes:

  • Mobile banking app development
